While reading of Safdarjung is considered the official one of the city, Lodhi Road Observatory recorded a low of 7.6 degrees Celsius, a MeT Department official said.
The minimum recorded at Palam, Ayanagar and Ridge weather stations were -- 8, 9 and 10.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
"There was light wind in the morning and shallow fog. The relative humidity level at 8:30 am was 87 per cent. No rainfall was recorded overnight," he said.
The weatherman has forecast a mainly clear sky and the maximum temperature is likely to settle at 23 degrees Celsius.
The minimum and maximum temperatures yesterday was recorded at 9.3 and 24.6 degrees Celsius.
The minimum and maximum temperatures tomorrow are likely to hover around 9 and 23 degrees Celsius, the MeT official said.
