Snapdeal appoints former Airtel executive Jayant Sood as CCO

eCommerce firm Snapdeal today said it has appointed Jayant Sood as its Chief Customer Experience Officer (CCO).
In his new role, Sood will be responsible for streamlining the company's customer service operations to deliver world-class experience to customers.
With 25 years of experience, Sood has worked with American Express and Bharti Airtel.
"Jayant's deep understanding of customer service best practices across diverse geographies will help us drive successful consumer engagements focussing on loyalty, satisfaction and retention," Snapdeal co-founder Rohit Bansal said.

Concentrix India launches 2 contact centres for Axis Bank * Concentrix today said it has launched two new contact centres in Hyderabad and Bangalore as part of its relationship with Axis Bank.
The new contract includes provision and supervision of 800 personnel and workflow managed through the two separate centres, Concentrix said in a statement.
Concentrix handles retail assets like loans and credit cards, insurance premium collection, merchant establishment, and mortgage contact centre services for Axis.

Accenture,top Asian banks open application for innovation lab * Consulting firm Accenture and a group of 10 financial institutions, including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, China Construction Bank (Asia), Credit Suisse, HSBC, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and UBS, have called in applications for FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific.
The 12-week programme helps early- and growth-stage financial technology innovators accelerate product development and gain exposure to top-level financial industry executives, a statement said.
The competition has sought entries in areas like alternative currencies, Big Data and analytics, mobile and wireless payments, risk management and compliance, as well as social media and collaboration technologies.
Applications will be accepted through May 31.
