Social media war: Jana Sena lodges complaintagainst YSR Cong

Actor Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena on Friday lodged a complaint with the cyber crime wing of the city police seeking action against YSR Congress Party's social media division for allegedly tarnishing its image.

The YSR Congress party social media wing was deliberately propagating "false and concocted" news and spreading baseless information through Facebook posts, the complaint said.

"The YSRCP social medias venomous propaganda has caused great damage to the sentiments of Janasena Party and the fans of Pawan Kalyan.

Hence we request you to take appropriate legal procedures against the organisers of YSRCP social media," it said.

The complaint was lodged by Nemuri Sankar Goud, Jana Senas Telangana in-charge.

When contacted a senior official of the Cyber crime wing said they have received the complaint and are "inquiring.
