Son beats father to death

Police said the incident happened at Chawulpara village new Khowang town.

Ratul Barua had an heated argument regarding some domestic issue. In anger, he picked up a stick and gave a severe beating to his father Loknath Barua (50).

The father collapsed at the spot and passed way. Local villagers called the police who picked up the assailant.

While being taken to police station, the youth told television channels that his father was a drunkard and used to frequently fight with him.

Police are continuing their interrogation and trying to verify the story.
