Soorya Krishnamoorthy to receive Special Achievement Award

The Kerala Tourism will honour Soorya Krishnamoorthy - Cultural Ambassador to Kerala Tourism, with the Special Achievement Award for his efforts to promote the state through art and culture.
The award will be presented during the Nishangandhi Cultural Festival commencing from January 20.
"Soorya Krishnamoorthy's cultural creative excellence has been widely used by the Tourism Department - during the Tourism Week Celebrations, the Nishagandhi Festival, the Malabar Mahotsavam, at festivals outside Kerala, the International Film Festival of Kerala and the International Theatre Festival of Kerala," Tourism Minister A P Anil Kumar said.
"His contribution to Kerala Tourism is immense and his works in the field of art and culture are highly notable," the minister said in a relase.

"Soorya Krishnamoorthy has played a major role in the inflow of tourists - especially the culturally interested and art lovers to India, especially Kerala," said Tourism Director P I Sheik Pareeth.
