Speeding truck kills three on Yamuna Expressway

Three youths were run over by a speeding truck on the Yamuna Expressway under the Surir police station area today, police said.
The truck driver fled the spot in the vehicle, they added.
The youths have been identified as Shiv Raj (19), Gaurav (18) and Pradeep (19), all from Sikandarpur village.
Angry villagers blocked the road for nearly four hours after the incident. The blockade was lifted after much persuasion by district officials.
With this, eight persons have died and five injured on the Yamuna Expressway in the last three days, officials said.
