Traders were not taking active part in view of Goods and Service Tax (GST) which has been implemented from today.
In non-edible segments, castor seeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activities.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil ruled steady at Rs 940 and refined palmolein also closed changed at Rs 532.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseed bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil also ended unaltered at Rs 4,650, Rs 960 and Rs 750 per 10 kg, respectively.
