In his written reply, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla said, the Government has decided to release all scholarships from the next academic year of 2015-16 directly to bank accounts of beneficiary students with or without Aadhar card.
"Necessary instructions have also been issued to ensure that no eligible beneficiary for the scholarship suffers for want of Aadhaar," he added.
Responding to an another question, the Minister said that a total number of 106 grievances relating to schlorships were redressed by the ministry through the Centralised Public Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System during fiscal 2014-15 (till 17-03-2015).
