Subhendu demands Centre flush out Maoists from Odisha, Jhar

"The Centre should launch operations to flush them out from Ghatsila, Chaibasa in Jharkhand and Mayurbhanj in Odisha," Adhikary, also the party's Youth wing chief told a public gathering at Shibmandir more at Binpur.

"There is peace in Bengal but it is not there in Odisha and Jharkhand because of the presence of them," he said and demanded that the Centre launch operations to flush them out.

Adhikary said the Mamata Banerjee government has launched a number of development and welfare schemes in West Midnapore district especially in Jhargram area.

Mamata Banerjee has promised a stadium in Jhargram and construction of a Nayagram bridge, he said. PTI COR RG
