T P Senkumar is the new DGP of Kerala

Kerala cabinet today decided to appoint senior IPS officer T P Senkumar as new Director General of police of Law and Order department in place of K S Balasubramanian, who is retiring on May 31.
This was stated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy during the media briefing on the cabinet meeting here.
Senkumar, a 1983 batch officer, is now the DGP (Prison) and has got service till June 2017.
