The state unit also authorised Congress President Sonia Gandhi to nominate TNCC chief along with executive body and AICC members.
"A unanimous resolution was passed at its general body meeting in Chennai today to authorise the Congress President to nominate the TNCC president and executive and AICC members from Tamil Nadu," party state unit's PRO Sanjay Dutt said.
The TNCC has completed the organisational polls by holding elections to booth, block, district and state level.
The Congress party is in the process of completing the organisational polls by October 15.
