"I have been discharged from the hospital and have started expediting the work in my department," the steel minister told PTI.
The minister who was suffering from prostate and urinary infection was admitted to AIIMS last Thursday, a ministry official said.
According to the official, the minister was undergoing check-ups at both All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in the last two to three months.
Singh is holding the steel portfolio since July, 2016. Prior to this, he was Union Minister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water & Sanitation since November, 2014.
