"We are looking at Rs 30,000 crore turnover in the next 4-5 years," TCL managing director R Mukundan said here today on the sidelines of unveiling of a book 'Salt of Earth, 75 years of history of the company'.
He said the book is written based on facts of the 75-years journey of the company and not just a sugar-coated book. Philip Chacko, co-author of the book said it was Mukundan's brainchild.
The company which is into chemicals, agri-inputs and food, would also focus on FMCG and non-regulated agri sector products as major future growth drivers through both organic and inorganic route, its executive director and CFO, Prashant Kumar Ghose said.
"Over the next four years we are looking at around Rs 4,000 crore from the consumer goods business (FMCG)," Ghose said.
According to him, the company will look to extend the brand to the nutrition and wellness segment in the coming days.
The recent restructuring in the overseas business by closing one plant each in UK and Kenya has started yielding fruit.
"We are looking at adding capacity of soda ash only at US. We are looking at 3.3 million tonne from 2.5 million tonne," Ghose said.
