TCS wins 5-year IT services contract from Dutch insurance firm

The five-year engagement will be focused on building a scalable and best-in-class technology platform for REAAL N V

India's largest IT services provider Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), today said that it has been selected by Dutch insurance firm, REAAL N.V., to develop and modernize the mainframe applications and servicing the company's 'life insurance' portfolio.

The five-year engagement will be focused on building a scalable and best-in-class technology platform for REAAL N.V. as it looks to increase agility across the business. Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.

"Developing a high level of operational and technical flexibility along with decreasing costs is critical for our business," commented Marcel van de Lustgraaf, Director Change and System development of REAAL N.V.

TCS has been present in the Netherlands and Benelux region since 1992 and has continuously invested in the market locally to deliver consistent results to its customers. TCS' Benelux operations comprise over 5,000 professionals working across Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
