The TDP also promised that it would supply clean and safe drinking water for Rs 2 for a 20-litre bottle, in its election manifesto for urban local bodies, slated for March 30.
"It was under TDP's rule that urban local bodies in the state were given a proper shape. We focused on provision of basic civic amenities to people in all urban areas. In the last ten years of the Congress, urban local bodies were grossly neglected and left to stink," Chandrababu said.
"We will ensure one job for each family if the TDP returns to power in the state," he said.
