Additional Session Judge Ashok Kumar Sahu convicted main accused Nehru Patel and his nine accomplices today and acquitted one person for lack of evidence.
The court has also slapped a fine of Rs 58,000 on Patel while nine others were imposed a fine of Rs 29,000.
In default of payment of fine, the main convict will further undergo additional imprisonment of five years and nine others for three years, it said.
According to prosecution, the incident took place at Bhadrapara village in Lailunga police station area of the district on March 11, 2009.
When the victim's family members registered complaint on March 15, all the 11 persons including Patel were rounded up.
Of the arrested, Umashankar Banjare was acquitted for lack of evidence.
