Tendulkar to promote road safety
Press Trust of India New Delhi Former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar is all set to promote the cause of road safety by joining 5,000 children in a pledge for commitment to safer roads here on Sunday.
The initiative is the brainchild of Forbes billionaire Azad Moopen, a Dubai-based Doctor who is also a healthcare entrepreneur.
Tendulkar will take the pledge alongside 5000 children at a stadium here.
The 42-year-old, who bid adieu to international cricket in 2014, has been actively supporting social causes and is a United Nations Environment Programme Goodwill Ambassador.
