"The Chief Minister has all the time to visit Delhi over and again for his different cases but has no time to visit the victim's family at a time when the the entire state is concerned due to this heinous incident," he said in a statement issued here.
Thakur said there was anger among the people regarding the statement issued by the Chief Minister after the incident.
"The Chief Minister came out with a statement that the people of Kotkhai area are extra smart, which was an insult to the residents of the area and it was their right to protest against the failure of the government in maintaining law and order," he said.
He said such a government has "no right" to remain in office for a single day and needs to be dismissed by the Governor as it has "failed on all fronts".
