'The Exorcist' TV series in the making?

A TV version of hit horror film 'The Exorcist' is in the works, forty years after it was released in the theatres.
'Fantastic Four' reboot writer Jeremy Slater and 'The Departed' and 'The Ring' executive producer Roy Lee are behind the adaptation of William Friedkin's 1973 horror classic, reported Deadline.
'The Exorcist' was based on a supernatural suspense novel by William Peter Blatty, about the possession of girl by a demon.
The movie adaptation was released in 1973.
