Three arrested with arms in UP

Three members of an arms smuggling racket have been arrested and five country-made pistols recovered from them near Jalesar town in the district, police said today.
The accused, identified as Satendra Yadav, Praveen Yadav and Milal, were arrested yesterday near the crossing of Jalesar town. The trio were part of a racket which has been smuggling pistols from Madhya Pradesh selling them at high rates here, SSP S K Verma said.
The accused have confessed to their crime and investigation is underway, he said.
