Three coaches of local train derail, no injuries

Three coaches for an EMU local today derailed near Dum Dum station, but there were no reports of any injuries, Eastern Railway officials said.
Three coaches of the Naihati local derailed close to Dum Dum station, but there were no reports of any injuries to any passenger, said R N Mohapatra, CPRO, Eastern Railway.
The coaches were re-railed soon and normal train services resumed without much disruption, the CPRO said adding, a departmental inquiry would be conducted to ascertain the causes behind the derailment.
