Three participants were injured in the bull taming sport of 'Jallikattu' organised in connection with Pongal harvest festivities at Thachankurichi in the district Monday, police said.
The injured were treated at the government hospital here.
More than 120 people participated in the event in which 453 bulls were used.
Hundreds of spectators were present and arrangements had been made in such way to ensure their safety, police said.
