Tibetan government-in-exile expresses grief over U'khand flood

The Tibetan government-in-exile today expressed concern over massive loss of life and property in Uttarakhand and announced to donate Rs 3 lakh for the flood victims.
"Central Tibetan Administration is deeply saddened by the devastating rain and flood that has affected tens of thousands of people in Uttarakhand," a CTA communique said today.
"We offer our prayers and sympathy for the families of those who have lost their lives and those who suffered injury or loss of property in this natural tragedy," it said.
"The CTA will contribute Rs 3 lakh to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for the flood victims," the statement said.
