Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today directed departments concerned and food procurement agencies to work in close coordination for the time bound implementation of 'Food Net Programme' in the state.
The programme aims to ensure transparency and plug leakage and diversion of farmers produce.
Khatter, who was presiding over a meeting on 'Food Net Programme' here, said it was being implemented with the concept of 'Earth to Mouth' and would have the online details right from sowing of crops in the fields to the consumption of the produce.
Its implementation would help in keeping online record of various agriculture activities, like actual quantity of foodgrains produced and its procurement, billing and storage, he said.
It was informed in the meeting that Haryana Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB) has completed the task of verifying the licenses of all 'arhtiyas' in the state, the statement said.
Online data of all mandis up to September 2015 is available with the board and the online seeding of the remaining data after this period is in progress and 70 per cent of this work has been completed, it said.
