The industrial metals edged-up at the LME, after dropping for two straight sessions, but prices were headed for their biggest monthly loss since June on expectations of swelling supply into next year and slowing demand growth.
Tin and nickel dropped by Rs 5 per kg each to Rs 1,575 and 995 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,580, respectively.
Copper cables scrap, copper armature, brass utensils scrap and aluminium utensils scrap softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 502, Rs 480, Rs 530, Rs 344 and Rs 122.
