The Trinamool Congress' Dola Sen won an election held Wednesday for nomination of a Rajya Sabha member to the governing council of Employees State Insurance Corporation, a statement said.
She secured 90 of the 156 votes polled, while Pradip Bhattacharya of the Congress polled 46 and E Karim of the CPI(M) eight.
The strength of the TMC in the Rajya Sabha is 13 while that of Congress is 48 and the CPI(M) five.
