Legislative Assembly Secretary A M P Jamaludeen said the proceedings scheduled for tomorrow "has been postponed in accordance with the views expressed by members of the Business Advisory Committee to Speaker P Dhanapal."
The announcement comes hours after DMK's demand in the House that the Assembly be given a day off in view of the farmers' bandh call over the Mekedatu dam row tomorrow.
The business listed for tomorrow will be taken up on March 30. Similarly, the agenda previously listed for March 30 and 31 will be taken up on March 31 and April 1 respectively, the Secretary said.
