Tribal woman trampled to death by wild elephant

A 42-year-old tribal woman was trampled to death by a wild elephant in Nilagiri area of Odisha's Balasore district today.
The deceased, identified as Kulamani Sing (42) of Tulasidiha village, had moved out of her house early in the morning when the wild elephant roaming in the area chased and trampled her when she fell down, police said.
The critically injured woman was taken to Balasore district headquarter hospital by villagers where she succumbed to her injuries, they said.
