The Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Apex Bank and All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) had recently inked a memorandum of agreement to provide loan to unemployed AAPPTF members.

Regarding other demands like review of reciprocal transport agreement between government of Arunachal Pradesh and government of Assam (corridor agreement) 1999 the chief minister assured that the matter will be discussed with Assam government for early review of the agreement and a special plying permit would be issued to transport operators of Arunachal Pradesh by state government which will cover both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

He also assured that demand for reduction of double taxation of 12.5 per cent VAT on purchase of vehicles from other state would be placed in next cabinet meeting for necessary discussion and reduction of existing 10 years road tax to 6 years would also be taken up with concerned authority in due course of time, sources added.
