The accused Jamal-uddin, who has made two passports with fake documents, and his witness Sabir were arrested in course of verification, said Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Chandil), Vimal Kumar said.
On directive of the foreign section of the district police, Kumar said a police team had gone to verify the passport of Jamal-uddin when it detected that he had already procured one passport with his original address at Bagan Sahi under Azadnagar police station here.
Expressing doubt about the intention of the accused, Kumar said we have arrested them because Jamal-uddin may have plans to misuse it.
