Malda Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Modi said Nimai Chowdhury and Dulal Mondal (NVF personnel) were arrested last night in connection with the murder of businessman Ujjal Mondal.
The body of Mondal was found in Bandepara village under Manikchak police station of the district yesterday.
Chowdhury and Mondal were today produced before a local court which remanded them to seven days police custody.
