Two charge sheeted in SHO murder case in Muzaffarnagar

A charge sheet has been filed in a local court here against the two accused in the murder case of SHO of Phugana village in the district.
The charge sheet was filed against Jyoti Mishra and her brother Prashant Mishra in the local court last evening.
The duo have been accused of murdering Station House Officer (SHO) of Phugana, Vijay Singh.
After taking cognisance of the case, Chief Judicial Magistrate Narender Kumar ordered the accused to be produced before the court for hearing on September 6.
According to the Senior Superintendent of Police H N Singh, police had registered a case of murder against two accused on May 23.

The deceased's wife Perbha Rani had lodged an FIR against the two accused, alleging that her husband was poisoned to death by the duo and also claimed that they had borrowed some money from him and refused to pay back.
Later, both the accused were arrested on May 26. They are currently in judicial custody.
The bail pleas of the duo have been rejected by the Sessions Court, saying there are serious allegations against them and there was no case of bail.
