Kandhamal Additional District Judge Susant Patel also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them, stipulating that they would undergo an additional jail term of six months in case the fail to pay the fine.
According to the prosecution, the two convicts Risa Kanhar and Kabidhara Kanhar of Gochhapada village along with four others had committed dacoity in the house of one Kartikeswar Digal of Dumerikia village on November 1, 2015 in a planned manner and had looted Rs 1.13 lakh cash.
