The seminar, organised by National Institute for Micro, small and Medium Enterprises, University of Maribor, Slovenia and other leading educational groups, will witness paper presentations, discussions on varied topics with over 300 professionals from field of academics taking part in it.
Inaugurating the seminar, Vice Chancellor of Gujarat Technological University Dr Akshai Aggarwal said players in the SME sector must take lessons of recession in Greece and ongoing economic turmoil in European countries which has severely affected the SME sector there.
Founder of an educational group in the city, Jayesh K Patel said that for meeting the target of new government to generate ten lakh jobs in the country, there is a need for setting up of more than 10,000 SMEs every year which will give jobs to unemployed youth.
