The victims, identified as Angoor Sheikh and Barjan Sheikh (both 35-years-old), residents of Rampurhat in adjoining West Bengal, were travelling on a motorcycle when the driver lost control and fell down from an under-construction bridge last night, officer-in-charge of Shikaripara police station, S K Suman told reporters.
A police team rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies this morning and while searching the police found a loaded pistol in the pocket of Angoor, he said adding Barjan had a hotel in Badpahari village under Rampurhat police station area.
