Two persons were injured in stone pelting when a clash broke out between two groups over parking of vehicles in Miranpur town here, police said today.
The incident took place last evening, when some people were asked by two persons of another group to remove their vehicles as it was blocking the road, SP (Crime) Rakesh Jolly said.
This led to violent clash and stone pelting between two groups in which two persons including a woman were injured and some vehicles were damaged, he said.
Senior police officials rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control, Jolly said, adding a dozen people have been taken into custody.
Security has been tightened and extra police force has been deployed in the area, he said.
