Two patients diagnosed with dengue fever in Giridih

Two patients, suffering from dengue fever, are being treated in a hospital in Giridih district, Civil Surgeon Dr Sanyal said today.
"Blood samples of two of the ten patients sent to Ranchi have been confirmed as dengue fever. They are being treated in the sadar hospital," Dr Sanyal said, adding the patients belong to a village in Giridih block.
Samples of two more patients with dengue symptoms were today sent to Ranchi for test, the Civil Surgeon said. The duo hail from a village in Bengawad block of the distirct, he said.
A team from Jharkhand Health Department will visit the areas tomorrow, Dr Sanyal said.
