Two women seriously injured as crackers explode

: Two women were seriously injured when crackers they were making at a fireworks unit at Thailkudi near Sattur in this district suddenly exploded, police said.
They said the crackers caught fire and exploded due to friction.
The injured women have been hospitalised.
One of the factory owners was arrested while a search was on for the other person, who fled soon after the incident, police said.
