Two youths commit suicide in separate incidence in Raj

A 20-year-old student taking coaching for NEET entrance examination allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his hostel room in Kunhadi area here, police said today.
Nikhil Kumar, who was from Bhagalpur district of Bihar was preparing for the medical exam and had sought admission in a coaching institute in mid June this year, assistant sub inspector, Yogesh Kumar said.
The other students of the hostel complained of a foul smell coming out from his room which was bolted from inside following which the caretaker of the hostel informed the police, he said.
No suicide note has been recovered from his room and the body seems to be two-days-old. Police is investigating the matter to ascertain the exact reason and time of death, Kumar added.
The postmortem would be conducted after the arrival of his parents from Bihar, he said.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a 19-year-old nursing student, Sorabh Sharma jumped before a moving train near Dhakniya railway station in Udhyognagar yesterday, sub inspector Suresh Potliya said.
A suicide note has been recovered from his possession which stated that he was ending his life by his own wish and no one was responsible for his act, he said.
The body was handed to the family after the postmortem, he said, adding a case has been registered and investigation is on.
