Udhampur govt college to get pink toilet under SBA

The Government College for Women, Udhampur district, will soon become the first public space in Jammu and Kashmir to have a pink toilet.

The foundation stone for the new concept washroom was laid today by district development commissioner Ravinder Kumar, an official spokesman said.

He said the first-of-its-kind facility will be constructed by the rural development department under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

During an interaction with students, Kumar said the pink toilet is a rare facility for girls in the country.
