Police constable Ajay Yadav was posted in Agra's Shamsabad area while constable Ravi Rawat was posted in UP-100 in Firozabad.
According to Additional SP Agra (East) R P Gupta, Yadav was shot at by miscreant following which he died.
Firozabad SP Ajay Kumar said Rawat came under the rear wheel of a tractor early Saturday morning when he was chasing it following reports that it was carrying illegally-mined sand.
The CM issued orders to pay Rs 20 lakh to the dependents, including wife, of the constables and a financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh if their parents are still alive.
