UP CM pitches for equipping farmers with latest technology

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today stressed on apprising the farmers with the new techniques and advancements so that there is no "dearth of foodgrains" in the country.
"Everything from eating habits to mode of conveyance is changing and this requires changing the mindset as well for taking care of the future," Yadav said while inaugurating the Uttar Pradesh Agri Horti Tech organised jointly by state government and PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Radeecal Communications in Saifai.
Stressing on the need for organising such an event here, Yadav said that his efforts have always been to disseminate the knowledge to farmers along with new methods of farming.

The event aims at brining together constituents of agriculture and allied industry like horticulture, dairy, livestock, poultry and food technology under one roof to share information and technology, the CM said.
