Upset at being obese, 110-kg youth kills self

Apparently dejected over being overweight, a 24-year-old man weighing allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his house here, police said today.
Vetriselvan, who weighed 110 kgs, was working in a mill and suffering from muscular pain, particularly legs and back, due to his weight, they said.
Depressed over his plight, the man committed suicide by hanging himself using a dhoti in his house last evening, which was noticed by his parents late night, police added.
