Cardamom prices edged higher by 0.58 per cent to Rs 1,031 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions amid pick up in demand at domestic spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in August edged up by Rs 5.90, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 1,031 per kg in a business turnover of 1 lot.
Traders said participants built up fresh positions due to pick-up in demand in the spot market, mainly attributed the rise in cardamom prices at futures trade.
