V-Guard strengthens geyser product line

Leading consumer electrical and electronics major today launched new range of water heaters for greater penetration in the Rs 1000 crore organised market.
"We have launched new series of water heaters - Pebble and the first to use engineered polymer anti-corrosion technology in India for 100 per cent rust resistance," company's VP marketing Deepak Augustine said here.
"We have a national marketshare of 20 per cent in the Rs 800-1000 crore geyser market and we are hopeful to penetrate deper with the new series," he added.
The West Bengal is a Rs 100 crore water heater market and of which organised sector has a share of Rs 55 crore and V-Guard has a marketshare of 16 per cent, GM east R K Bhattacharjee said.

The company said V-Guard is among the few companies which has complete manufacturing facilities of water heaters.
