"I met the minister (Vij) to present my side as he is the head of the department," said Dr Vandana Bhatia, who was transferred from the post of Kurukshetra Chief Medical Officer yesterday after the controversy erupted.
"Neither there was any intention to hurt anyone nor I hurt anybody. Rather I am feeling disturbed because of this incident," she said.
During the meeting, Vij told her that the matter was with Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and only he would take a final call on it. Vij assured her that her sentiments would be conveyed to the chief minister.
While talking to media, Vij confirmed that Bhatia, along with her husband, met him at his residence for a brief period.
A controversy had erupted over a purported telephonic conversation between minister of State for Women and Child Welfare Krishan Kumar Bedi and Bhatia who alleged that minister had used "harsh words" against her.
