During a meeting held at Raj Bhavan here, Vohra reviewed status of the work and stressed for speedy completion of the project, an official spokesperson said.
Upon completion, the bridge will provide a direct connectivity from NH-1 to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and the upcoming Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence at Kakryal.
Vohara, who is also the Chancellor of the SMVDU, also emphasised on upgrading of the Kakryal-Katra Road within a fixed time frame.
Principal Secretary to the Governor and CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Navin K Choudhary, among other officials, was also present on the occasion.
