Son of an auto-rickshaw driver, 15-year-old Faizal plays young Maharana Pratap on the show and he considers himself lucky to have got this opportunity.
"I am happy to have got a chance to display my acting skills as people have always known me as a dancer. I want to prove myself... I want to be a star someday," he told PTI.
While shooting for the show, Faizal underwent training for sword fighting and horse riding. He also read books about Maharana Pratap to understand his character.
Faisal will be performing few stunts on the show which will be aired on Sony TV from May 27.
