Noted yesteryear actress Swaroop Sampat was initially scared to show the trailer of her next film "Ki and Ka" to her actor-husband Paresh Rawal.
The veteran Bollywood actor's wife will be seen next in the R Balki film featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles.
"Ki and Ka" tries to break that set mould of the society as Kareena plays an ambitious marketing manager of a firm while Arjun is seen as a supportive house-husband.
Sampat portrays the role of a progressive mother of Kareena.
"He (Paresh Rawal) doesn't see my work. I was scared to show him the trailer of "Ki and Ka". But when he saw the trailer, he liked it a lot and said I was good in it," Sampat told PTI.
"He was not surprised seeing me in the trailer. He was happy," she added.
The 57-year-old actress does discuss discuss work with her actor-politician husband.
"We discuss everything about work. We support each other. He is my best friend first and then a husband."
On screen, Rawal has tickled the funny bone of the audiences. In real life too, according to his actress wife, he is crazy.
"He is an introvert person but he is crazy. We as family have great time always." The couple has two sons Aniruddh and Aditya and both are interested in films.
"Aditya is learning screenplay writing in New York and Aniruddh is working as an assistant director on superstar Salman Khan's "Sultan".
"Both have inclination towards acting. They want to become actors," Sampat said.
Both the sons like their father's films. They, however, haven't seen much work of Sampat.
"They like serious films, not typical Bollywood films. But they do like Paresh's films and they think he is a great actor. They haven't seen much of my films," Sampat added.
