Water tank operator held for mixing poison

A water tank operator was arrested for mixing pesticide in a four lakh litre capacity water tank in Bairnatham village was arrested today.
K Anbazhagan, who stayed near the over head water, informed the police that he noticed someone jumping from the tank lst night and that he suspected some pesticides might have mixed with the water to supply over one lakh population of 18 villages.
Police with the help of government officials took samples of the water and sent it for testing. They also emptied the tank.
When police, on suspecian, questioned Anbazhagan, he admitted that he himself mixed the pesticide in the water.
